No matter what your health situation is, there is something out there for everyone and we can help people find ways to enjoy an active lifestyle. Here are some of the projects we are involved in that can help people get active whatever their needs: Let’s Get Moving Cambridgeshire supports everyone to get active, particularly supporting those who are currently not physically active. We Are Undefeatable is a national campaign supported by 17 national charities who are all experts in different health conditions, working to support and motivate people with long term conditions to get active. To find out more or get involved in the campaign visit the campaign website. Escape Pain is a nationally recognised exercise programme for people with Arthritis. ESCAPE Pain stands for Enabling Self-management and Coping with Arthritic Pain through Exercise. ESCAPE Pain is a rehabilitation programme that helps people with osteoarthritis (OA) and/or chronic joint pain self-manage their condition. There are currently classes being run by One Leisure Active Lifestyles in Huntingdonshire and Vivacity in Peterborough. We are supporting British Gymnastics Foundation to roll out their older age and dementia friendly gymnastics programme Love to Move. Workforce Support: Living Sport deliver workshops designed to support coaches, instructors and activity deliverers to welcome and support people with heart disease, diabetes and arthritis to their activities.
