Living Sport was proud to be part of a Summer Fayre organised by the PTA of Hampton Hargate Primary School in Peterborough on Saturday 18th June. The PTA invited Living Sport to provide some fun and games for children and their families. We also used the event to talk with local residents about their community and how they like to keep active. Living Sport is particularly keen to support such community initiatives offering physical activity in the Hamptons, as it is a new part of Peterborough.

Through the hard work of the school PTA, the Fayre attracted about 800 people, an amazing achievement considering that it rained nearly all afternoon! Visitors had a choice of nearly 40 stalls to visit. The event raised an incredible £3,000, to be used towards the school.

Living Sport’s sport and games went down well with visitors, as did the ‘treasure map’ game which led to one lucky boy winning a £25 sports voucher. Samantha Guy, Chair of the school PTA, said ‘I'm delighted that Living Sport was so well received by our visitors. The crowds were drawn to the activities, energy and fun brought by the team. Living Sport were a fantastic part of the event.’

Living Sport would love to work with the school PTA again in the future.
